In the app

Knightmare works offline without an account. Saves and settings stay on your device. We do not sell your personal information, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Gameplay analytics

Analytics-enabled versions automatically collect gameplay activity and results, app/platform information, and random identifiers to understand usage and improve the game. A persistent installation ID links activity over time, without your name or email.

We store this data on Railway, our hosting provider, with no automatic expiration, for ongoing usage and game balance analysis. Hosting providers also process technical request information, such as IP addresses.

Automatic updates and diagnostics

Expo’s EAS Update service receives an installation identifier, app/device information, update activity, IP addresses, and available error diagnostics to deliver updates, troubleshoot problems, and report usage. Its retention and international processing are covered by Expo’s privacy policy.

Sharing and Apple services

Shared images go to your chosen destination, not us. Apple handles App Store, backup, and diagnostic data under its privacy policy and your settings. TestFlight may share testing activity, crashes, and feedback with us.

On the website

We use Plausible for aggregate website traffic and interaction statistics. It processes IP addresses and browser information without cookies or storing raw IP addresses. Our host processes technical requests to deliver and secure the site.

When you contact us

We and our email provider process your email address and message to respond to support requests. We keep support information as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

Deleting the app removes local data, not previously collected server-side data. Manage backups through Apple settings. For privacy questions or access, correction, and deletion requests, contact support@playknightmare.com. We may need information to locate your records. Your rights depend on applicable law.

We will update this page and its date when our practices change.
